submission of CH1007 homework
Dear All, To make sure you go through the homework I assigned at the end of each tutorial. I'd like to ask all of you to submitt the answers to me. So please hand in the answers (start from vector algebra to differential calculus)at next lecture. Then for next week's homework (two lectures), you can turn in at next next week's lecture hours. Please try them by yourself before resorting to the posted answers. Wishing you a prosperous new year!
I've got a MAD lecturer who wants all the homework straight after CNY! He is out of his mind la. Crap! I have got an essay due on Wednesday, a computing quiz on Thursday. I don't need extra homework to spoil my CNY. Argh! HECK! I doubt many will do. SO... I am pretending I didn't see the email. :D

Well... Less than a month of school, so much things have happened. The first time I went into a tutorial class without a single familiar face. Met new people, got to know the names of some people I recognise from somewhere, anywhere. Read a superb book. Met at least 4 good lecturers/tutors. Worrying about hitting the big '2'. Having the first essay assignment. Signing up for research participation for psychology. Being late for lecture for half an hour. These are all experiences... The worst is thinking too much on bus journeys to school and back home. With the availablity of mind on the bus, my mind runs wild, thinking too much sad and discouraging stuff. I do want to become happier and better. Time for me to get rid of all the stupid thoughts and read more books. Haha!

The Bonesetter's Daughter by Amy Tan
'What bothers me is that I don't feel lonelier without Art,' she told Wendy over the phone. I feel more myself.'
Ruth sank against his chest,' I don't know, I don't know,' she said softly. 'Sometimes I feel like I'm a pair of eyes and ears, and I'm just trying to stay safe and make sense of what's happening. I know what to avoi, what to worry about. I'm like those kids who live with gunfire going off around them. I don't want pain. I don't want to die. I don't want to see other people around me die. But I don't have anything left inside me to figure out where I fit in or what I want. If I want anything, it's tot know what's possible to want.'
I read this book with a lot of things going through my mind. A book really worth reading.

Jap Fever Hmm now I am at LT1A sitting in for chem lecture. Hence I am here updating this. Now 4 out of 6 people im my clique are taking Jap as elective. More often than not, they will say something in Jap, making me so blur.. Haha but they are clearly enjoying their Jap lessons, making me so interested in taking Jap also.. But it clashes with one of my lectures :( so sad by half an hour only.. Crapping already.. Tata

Electives Since I have a balance of AUs for both core and elective subjects, I am spending the same amount of time per week on each. But I am enjoying my electives lessons a lot more than the core. The lecturers for electives are much more interesting. Psychology lecturer will show video clips. The Power of Media lecturer likes to "act" by varying his pitch, tone and voice during the lecture. It was so fun just sitting there listening to him. Haha. But hope I can survive this semester since I don't have the usual subjects I do well with as a backup to pull up my grades :S

Tuesday, January 10

hmm It has been so long since I last blogged. I lost the mood to blog. 5 people fighting to use the computer almost everyday. Christmas was spent with my maternal family at West Coast Park. Had quite a fun time. New Year's Eve had 2B outing. We had bbq at East Coast Park. Something funny, embarassing to two person happened. (shan't elaborate)Had too much food. Choosing electives is not something fun to do. First week of school: Went for one math lecture. Skipped the rest since I have only one lecture per day. Instead went to help my mum at school canteen. I think my hand is allergic to detergent. Everyday after I washed the dishes, my hands started to peel the next day, becoming "furry hands". 9th Jan: The official first day of school for me. Very tiring. Had one tutorial and 2 lectures, plus it is not the correct day of the month, I was so lethargic. In between these days, I went back to NJ to play badminton with juniors. So fun! Went for porridge with juniors at Suntec. After that, Judy, Xiaoli, Danson, Yanchoo and I went to Kbox. Was quite fun. After that we went to meet coach for dinner at kenny rogers. Stayed there til 10 plus, past the closing time. Haha. Now wonder they kept clearing our plates. After this I will be missing for quite a while, I think. Til then. Tata
